Representative Tobit moves that the journal for August 13th be approved as written, those in favor will say Aye, those opposed will say No. The Aye's have it and the journal is approved as written. bill 607, Tax payer protection act. The bill's referred to the committee on finance and a favorable committee on rules calendar and operations of the house. Special message from the Senate, the Clerk will read.  Mr. Speaker, it is ordered that the message be set to the House representatives with information that Senator Soucek has been added to the conferee on House bill 334 Senate committee substitute forth edition a bill to the entire act to establish the office of charter schools located under the state board of education, to modify the charter school advisory board and to enhance the charter school application process respectfully [xx] Noted. Notices and announcements Clerk is recognized for an announcement.  House committee education and community colleges will meet on Tuesday, August 18th at 11:00 A. M in room 643. Members, the Chair will offer a brief announcement. Tomorrow we'll be privileged to welcome among us a group of World War II veterans who will be recognized in the Chamber of the Joint Resolution that will be coming over from the Senate. For what purpose does the gentleman from Union, Representative Horn arise? Question. The gentleman may state his inquiry. It was just announced that education, community colleges will meet tomorrow at 11, but it says on our agenda that that has been cancelled, and I got, I received an email to the sustaining of fact that that meeting had been cancelled. The House will be at ease for just a moment. Representative Horn and members, the Chair appreciates the gentleman's enquiry. It does appear that what is in the possession of the Clerk at this time is the notice to call the committee and not a notice to cancel it.
