The House will come to order, members will take their seats. Visitors will retire from the chamber, the Sergeant-at-Arms has closed the doors. Members and visitors will please silence all electronic devices. The prayer will be offered by Representative Chris Malone, members and visitors in the gallery will please stand and remain standing for the Pledge of Allegiance. Good afternoon, thank you for the opportunity to lead you in prayer. On this day that the Lord has made, let us be thankful for as many blessings bestowed and grace given. Let the hand of God guide those in this chamber and all those who labor in government. Let his wisdom flow into us as we make decisions that we believe are in the best interest of the State we lead. I close by offering scripture from Colossians 3:10, 15-17, Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace, and be thankful, let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through Psalms, hymns and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts and whatever you do, whether in word or deed do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus giving thanks to the God, to God the father through him, Amen. I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all.
